These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chibot mobile application, Chibot-related online services, and software services provided in connection with a Chibot robot.
The Chibot services are provided by Matoffo OÜ, registry code 16517194, registered in Estonia.
By creating an account or using Chibot, you agree to these Terms.
1. Chibot Service
Chibot is a business-oriented robotic assistant.
The Chibot mobile application is a companion application used to set up and configure a physical Chibot robot.
Depending on the available version, the application may allow you to:
- create and manage a Chibot account;
- connect a Chibot robot to Wi-Fi;
- link a robot to your account;
- choose a robot name;
- select language and voice settings; and
- configure behavior instructions.
A physical Chibot robot is required to use robot-related functionality.
2. Account
You may need a Chibot account to use certain features.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activities performed through your account unless they result from circumstances outside your reasonable control.
You must notify us at contact@chibot.io if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Email Verification
Chibot may require you to verify your email address before your account becomes fully active.
Service-related emails may also be sent for password recovery and other account-related purposes.
4. Robot Configuration
A Chibot robot may be linked to a Chibot account.
Configuration settings submitted through the application may be transmitted to the Chibot service and applied to the linked robot.
You are responsible for ensuring that information and instructions you provide for robot configuration are appropriate for your intended use.
5. Voice and AI-Generated Responses
Chibot robots may process voice interactions using automated speech processing and artificial intelligence technologies.
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unexpected.
You should not rely on Chibot-generated responses as professional medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other specialist advice.
You remain responsible for how Chibot is deployed and used in your environment.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Chibot to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe the rights of another person;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to Chibot systems or accounts;
- interfere with or disrupt Chibot infrastructure;
- introduce malicious software or harmful code;
- reverse engineer the service where prohibited by applicable law;
- use the service to intentionally generate or distribute unlawful content; or
- use Chibot in a way that may cause harm to people, property, or systems.
We may restrict access to the service where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, protect our systems, or comply with applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
The Chibot application, service, software, branding, interfaces, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Matoffo OÜ and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Chibot software and services for their intended purpose.
They do not transfer ownership of Chibot software or intellectual property to you.
8. Third-Party Services
Chibot relies on third-party infrastructure and technology providers to provide certain functionality.
Availability or performance of some functionality may therefore depend on services outside Matoffo OÜ's direct control.
Use of third-party infrastructure does not give you a direct contractual relationship with those providers unless separately stated.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Chibot available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may modify, update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to develop, maintain, secure, or operate Chibot.
Software updates may be required for continued compatibility with the Chibot service.
10. Hardware
These Terms primarily govern the Chibot application and associated online services.
Separate terms, warranties, or purchase conditions may apply to the physical Chibot robot and related hardware.
11. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Chibot account through the Chibot app or at https://chibot.io/delete-account.
Account deletion requires email confirmation. After confirmation, access to the account is revoked and account-associated cloud data is scheduled for deletion.
Account deletion does not reset or erase data stored locally on the physical Chibot robot. Additional details are available in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer
Chibot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular business purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Matoffo OÜ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Chibot.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when Chibot, applicable law, or our business practices change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Continued use of Chibot after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without limiting any mandatory rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
